Daniel Spiegel

Advancement Director
Daniel Spiegel holds a Master of Science degree in sports business from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of California, Berkeley. With over eleven years of progressive leadership experience in marketing, fundraising, and administration in higher education, Daniel has built a tremendous track record of success. The former Director of Development for Athletics at California State University, Northridge, Daniel identified and attracted new donors, stewarded stakeholders, and created and managed volunteer leadership committees. In his previous leadership role at the Office of Sports Marketing at Columbia University, Daniel was recognized in 2008 by the NCAA with the Pack the House Night trophy and in 2009 for developing the best women’s basketball fan promotion in the Ivy League. Daniel hails from a family that is actively-involved in the Jewish community, and he is excited to bring his commitment to Jewish life and continuity, in addition to his visionary leadership and dedication to relationship-building, to our senior administrative team.                               

Sinai Akiba Academy is a private Jewish day school in Los Angeles, serving students in Early Childhood through Grade 8. We also offer a variety of parenting classes and programs for children through our Parenting Center
