Fires Spark Community Response

A special note from Head of School Dr. Sarah Shulkind regarding the fires.
As fires continue across Southern California, we are disheartened by the devastation.  So many people from the School, Temple and local community have been affected. If you or a loved one is in need of assistance, please reach out to us at

We are deeply saddened by the news that Jewish institutions have experienced significant damage including Camp JCA Shalom, Wilshire Boulevard Temple Camps (Camp Hess Kramer and Gindling Hilltop Camp), and Ilan Ramon Day School.  We view these organizations as partners in our ongoing mission of educating the next generation of Jewish leaders.

As so many people are still figuring out housing, clothing and food details, we are proud that our community has bound together donating thousands upon thousands of clothes, supplies and goods for those now in need.

Here are just two of the many opportunities to help:

The Jewish Federation
The Jewish Federation has created a directed fund that allows us to all come together to give back to those organizations that have given us all so much and support those who need our help. 100% of your gift will go directly to those who need it. Donate here

LAFD Foundation
Your donation will assist the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation in all of their efforts to keep our region safe. Donate here
