Physical education in Sinai Akiba Academy’s middle school stresses the importance of sportsmanship and fair play. Although, competitive effort is encouraged, the respect amongst players, adherence to the rules and a basic joy of participation are highly valued. The program is committed to providing an active and varied physical exercise program that supports the physical, social and emotional growth of the students, and encourages a life-long commitment to movement. In addition to the traditional sports and games we also offer: Dance/Dance Revolution, cup stacking, capture the flag, and tinkiling to name a few. Our students participate in Hoops for Hearts, and the Presidential Fitness Campaigns. Teaching our students about healthy nutritional choices and the benefits of a balanced physical fitness program is an integral part of our curriculum. Classes are structured to encourage a relaxed atmosphere that lessens inhibitions and promotes participation.

We offer league sports for our students who are interested in a competitive sports experience. We are members of the San Fernando Private School League and compete against other private schools in football, basketball, soccer and volley ball.
