Sarah is in her 12th year at the School, where she has served in a number of different roles in the Early Childhood Center, including as Interim Director, Assistant Director, Curriculum Coordinator, and preschool teacher. She holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of the Creative Arts in England, a certification in early childhood education from UCLA (Basic and Advanced), trainings in RIE foundations and PITC, as well as certifications as a birth and post-partum doula. Sarah is a mother to two children, both of whom attended Sinai Akiba from preschool through middle school.
Julia P. Kantor, LMFT, has been a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in Beverly Hills for over 16 years. She specializes in mindful parenting with babies, toddlers, and parents. Julia teaches first- and second-time moms’ groups at the Pump Station, Temple Judea, and other venues. She is also a Bringing Baby Home educator and frequently speaks on the research-based tools for “babyproofing your marriage.”
Miss Lexi is originally from Florida and is a graduate of the American Musical & Dramatic Academy, where she studied musical theater, voice, and dance. She has portrayed Belle onstage in Beauty and the Beast productions and has been part of other live, film, and TV performances. Lexi has the sweet voice to match her sweet personality and is a natural princess.
Email University of Texas - BA As a second grade educator at Alice and Nahum Lainer School, Annie has a passion for teaching. As soon as she discovered yoga, she immediately knew she was meant to be a yoga teacher as well. In 2011, Annie completed her 200-hour certification in hatha yoga at Liberation Yoga in Los Angeles. She is certified to teach children, tween, and teen yoga and believes that sharing yoga with our next generation is a true blessing.
Jasmine Moradfar earned a BA in psychology and sociology at UC Irvine and a master’s in education with a focus in early childhood education, as well as her child development permit and teaching credentials, from UCLA. Jasmine received a fellowship awarded by the US Department of Education during her time at UCLA and was part of the IMPACT Duel Credential Program in early childhood and elementary education. After graduating, she worked as a preschool teacher for several years before founding PlayCreations Kids.
Email Ronit Sherf is originally from Tel Aviv, Israel, where she worked on a Kibbutz for four years and taught kindergarten for two years. Before joining Alice and Nahum Lainer School’s Early Childhood Center in 2004, Ronit worked in a day care center. She has over twenty-five years of teaching experience and holds a BA in early childhood education from Seminar Ha’ Kibutzim in Tel Aviv, Israel. She also holds an early childhood certificate.
