Alice and Nahum Lainer School Admissions Procedures

-Download an Admissions Checklist from your application to keep track of all application materials.

-Confidential Teacher Recommendation Forms and a Parent Authorization for Release of School Records are required for all applicants. They're also available to download in the blue box on your left. Please sign and date these forms and give them to your child's current school office or to the applicant's teacher. If you download the forms, you'll need to provide an addressed, stamped envelope along with each form. Forms are to be mailed directly from your child’s school to the Admissions Office: Alice and Nahum Lainer School at 10400 Wilshire Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90024.

-Student Assessment: In January, you will receive an email with the date and time for your child's assessment in Februrary at our school. Middle School applicants will be scheduled for a brief, informal interview with the Middle School Director.

-Parent Interview: Once your child's file is complete, a parent interview will be scheduled with either the Admissions Director or one of the other administrators. This is a mutual opportunity for us to get to know each other better and, if you'd like, we can also tour the school campus one more time. This interview may be scheduled before or after your child's assessment.

-Contracts and enrollment deposits guarantee your child’s space.

-Final Transcript:  Your child’s current school office must send a copy of your child's final report card and standardized test scores (when applicable) before your child can begin Alice and Nahum Lainer School in the fall.
