Our teachers are highly trained in differentiated instruction. They use formative ASSESSMENT in all academic areas to better understand each child's strengths and weaknesses. We use these assessments to engage in both small group and individualized instruction to meet the needs of all learners. In addition, we have a Student Support Services department that includes advanced learning specialists and educational therapists to help meet the needs of all learners in our school.
With in-class differentiated learning that focuses on each child’s strengths, small group and one-on-one learning support and an advanced learners program, teachers and specialists differentiate instruction to address the needs of all students. Lainer School is proud to have six learning specialists who provide support so that all students’ emotional, behavioral, social, and health needs are met.
