Are you passionate about writing amazing stories to share with the world? If so, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and talented writer who can work collaboratively with a wide variety of people and personalities to translate their expertise and experiences into articles that will educate, inform and delight. This is more than just a typical writing position; this is a new role within our growing marketing and communications team that will be an integral part of our strategic initiatives.
Who we are ...
We are a fantastic Jewish Day School in Los Angeles, but we’re so much more than just your average educational institution. With a robust, comprehensive curriculum and a stimulating, joy-filled environment, we help shape students for long-term success. Our focus is on staying at the forefront of dynamic instruction, working with teachers to break new ground in building knowledge and advancing critical analysis. We’re also a leader in redefining Jewish education, sparking innovation and inspiring imagination to prepare children for a future of personal growth and achievement.
Who you are ...
You’re a versatile writer who can report on school events and initiatives, showcase our innovative programs, and even share updates on finger painting and field trips without blinking an eye. But, that’s not all, you can easily transition from reporting on incredible learning opportunities to a variety of other writing assignments, including creating engaging marketing copy and crafting inspiring solicitation letters for our development office. You can even collaborate with our talented faculty to develop informative and educational articles for our prospective parents. Be it a blog, news article, press release or marketing content, you have a way with words that paints a vivid (and grammatically correct) picture for the reader, all while staying true to our brand. You’re even able to snap a few photos along the way.
