Alice and Nahum Lainer School has embarked on the school’s first official endowment campaign through our participation in Generations LA. Generations LA is a joint venture between PEJE (Partnership for Excellence in Jewish Education), the BJE (Builders of Jewish Education) the AVI CHAI Foundation and several local partners. Alice and Nahum Lainer School was selected to participate in this pilot program in order to grow the School's existing endowment and to serve as a model for day schools nationwide. There are thirty schools participating in the Generations endowment inititative and twelve day schools in Los Angeles alone.  Click here to see our growing list of Generations LA Endowment supporters.

Alice and Nahum Lainer School enjoys a sizeable endowment fund including several "named funds" that provide additional revenue streams to the School's annual operating budget. Endowment gifts leave an enduring legacy honoring you and your family and reflect the values you hold dear. Typically, the principal of an endowment fund is held intact while the interest generated from the fund is used to support a particular program. Endowment contributions can be made in the form of multi-year pledges and can also be made through a bequest, stock or real estate transfer, or other planned gifts.

We want to thank families in our community who have established named endowment funds.  We welcome additional contributions to any of the following funds: click here for a complete listing of Alice and Nahum Lainer School endowment funds.
